Key Responsibilities: Part-Time Accountant Needed Job in Muscat, Oman

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Handle VAT and income tax issues, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entries in accounting software.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decisions.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an accountant, with specific expertise in VAT and income tax.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
